Safe lockers

What do I need to apply for a safe locker?

A safe locker offers a convenient way to store your valuable belongings. To apply for one, all you need is a current account at Banco di Caribe that has shown activity during the past six months.

What are the sizes and fees of the safe lockers?

Our safe lockers are available in seven (7) sizes to suit your specific needs. Please note that the lockers are subject to availability, and a one-time deposit fee of AWG 100.00 is required.

All locker boxes have a standard length of width of 31 cm and depth of 50.4 cm. These are the available heights and corresponding prices:

  • 5 cm x 31 cm x 50.4 cm        AWG  60.00
  • 7.5 cm x 31 cm x 50.4 cm     AWG   75.00
  • 12.5 cm x 31 cm x 50.4 cm   AWG 100.00
  • 17.5 cm x 31 cm x 50.4 cm   AWG 150.00
  • 30 cm x 31 cm x 50.4 cm      AWG 200.00
  • 20 cm x 31 cm x 50.4 cm      AWG 350.00
  • 32.5 cm x 31 cm x 50.4 cm   AWG 500.00

At what times can I access my safe locker?

You are welcome to access your safe locker on business days from 8 am to 3:45 pm.

Can a safe locker be registered on another person’s name?

Safe lockers can be registered in the name of a holder of a current account at Banco di Caribe. In addition, you can authorize others to temporarily or permanently access your safe locker. However they must have a current account at Banco di Caribe and would also need an authorization letter from the safe locker’s owner/holder. Our representatives will be glad to assist you when you register.

If I lose my keys, can I still access my safe locker?

We urge you to take the utmost care in safeguarding your keys. If you lose it, the process of accessing your safe locker will be very difficult and costly.

You will need to pass by our head office to inform us.  You will lose your initial deposit of AWG 100.00 and you will be charged an additional fee in order to be able to access your safe. We do not have any spare keys.  If you wish to reuse our safe locker services, you will need to reapply for a new one.
